Day of Dance 2025

It’s Southron Gaard’s dedicated dance collegium, now in its fifth year.
There will be classes for dancers of all levels of expertise during the day, perhaps something for musicians, all to be followed by a Repast and Ball in the evening.

When is it? Saturday, 23 August 2025, from 10am.
Where is it? At The Village Community Centre @ Bryndwr,
190 Aorangi Road, Bryndwr 8053, Christchurch (near Jellie Park).

Timetable for the day:
9:30 am – site opens.
10:00 am – first class session
12:00 pm – lunch
1:00 pm – second class session
2:30 pm – afternoon break
3:00 pm – third class session
4:30 pm – break to prepare for the evening
6:00 pm – repast begins
7:00 pm – ball begins
9:30 pm – clean up
10:00 pm – site closes
People can wear garb or mundane gear for the daytime sessions, but the Repast and Ball in the evening will be garbed. If you can do a red and gold theme in your garb, that’s great, but it’s not required.
