Once again, there will be a spectacular event at Gilcott Manor to celebrate all things fiery!
When is it? Saturday 13th of September 2025.
Where is it? 133 McHughs Rd, Mandeville (https://maps.app.goo.gl/4BFH7SwjAAHRsw2y5).
Costs: $40 adult SCA member, $20 child (under 18), + $5 extra for non-members.
Gate opens at 1pm, and the event runs until midnight… or sometime after.
* Daytime activities include blacksmithing, archery, bread making (in pizza oven), and much, much more!
* A Viking feast to tempt your taste buds, prepared by Elkie (an international chef of much renown). All dietary quirks can be catered for – Elkie is a specialist chef in that area.
* Another amazing Quest (even better than the last amazing one!).
* Fiery armour/rapier/youth combat tournaments.
* Fido the Fire Breathing Dragon will be back with even more amazing pyro.
* And of course, everyone’s favourite, the Flaming Trebuchet!!
Camping overnight in orchard is fine. Help to pack down on Sunday comes with a free Breakfast! Select camping in the booking form.
Bookings will close on Monday 8th September. Payments will have to be made on-line. There won’t be any cash handling at the Gate.
