Booking for Royal Revel Event
Greetings all
With the visit of King Jochen to our shores for Day of Dance, we will be giving the populace a chance to spend some time with His Majesty in an informal setting on Friday 22 August. This will take the form of an ungarbed Royal Revel!
Where: Redwood Scout Den (site on Sunday practices etc)
When: Friday 22 August -6pm site opens and we will need to be locking the doors at 10pm
Bring your feast gear and a dish to share
This will be partially potluck – stew and bread will be provided but please bring a dish with you – this could be a pie, cheese and crackers, fruit, sliced meats, nuts… or you could bring a sweet dish like a fruit crumble or pie, or your favorite dessert. As this is ungarbed more modern food is very acceptable (even more so if it involves chocolate) but you are welcome to bring period food too.
There is an oven onsite for heating food but space is limited.
Cost: $10 per adult and $5 per child (Non members will need to pay the $5 non-member fee). This is to cover the site costs and the hall hire
While this is ungarbed you are still required to be clothed.
