Reports
B&B - Attended Belatin, letter from the king.

Seneschal - Chasing up dispensation for Beltaine clash with kingdom
event - Crown Tourney. We didn't get it. Discussed whether we wanted to
appeal this policy. Some strong feeling expressed. Vitale to follow up.
Talked with people organizing the folklore festival in Wellington. They
were keen for the SCA to take part and are prepared to pay travel money.
Was a bit close to the event for this year but it is something we should
look at for next year. Is at end of November and is scheduled to run for
the next 5 years.

A&S - No correspondence. Still owed money for symposium 1. Symposium 2
well attended. Symposia taking a break as events are coming more
frequently. No interest in arts championship so far.

Marshal - Nothing to report.
Fight practices are now occurring on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm under
the oaks at Deans Bush. Also on Sunday mornings at 10am in Richmond
Park, Stanmore Rd.

Constable - Quarterly report due soon. Nothing to report this month.

Reeve/Exchequer - Main account balance $6600.66. Adele has responded to
request for deputy. Should we get a copy of the MS money program for the
Barony> Will find out cost and look into buying it, will also look at
licensing issues for copies for subsequent exchequers.

Lists - Ran lists at Beltaine for children. To contact earl marshal re
authorization cards.

Webminister - Have host for webpage and for mailing list. Discussion re
rationalization of mailing lsits. Website up in a couple of weeks.

Chatelaine 1 newcomer at Belatine. Corresponded with US student looking
to come to CHCH. Working on newcomers website stuff. Emailed quarterly
report to seneschal.

Quarerermaster - Took stuff to Belatine - stuff returned. Some lost
property - will hand to constable.

Crescents - Beltaine went well. Stepping down at 12th night. Looking for
replacement.

Herald - One submission sent off. Christian's name has passed. Where are
we with augmentation? Time to re-look at that. Can we forward submission
results to FTT and to webpage? Can we please check that awards given by
TRMs Cornelius and Morwynna have made it to the OP.

Chronicler - 3 new subs for FTT and alchemist sold.
Alchemist to be accounted for under main account not FTT account. Main
account to reimburse FTT account for any extra printing costs of
printing extra Incorporation material. Sinech and Madelaine to sort this
out.

Events.
Beltaine - 20 adults and 13 children attended. $163.60 income made
$11.13 profit. Arabella owed $13 for expenses.

Royal event - Total site fee $12. Evening picnic. Small hall booked in
case of wet weather, Site opens 2:30.

Xmas revel. Publicity on mailing lists and in FTT to be held at first
site suggested last month. Xmas pudding with all the trimmings. Games
organized. Kitchen facilities available. Ad in FTT. Change of venue to
be given on website if weather is bad.

12th night 9-11th Jan 2004.
Testing recipes, pre-cooking. Looking for someone to run archery, to
teach dance, to run childrens activities and serving of feast. Request
for donations of prizes. Tourney preparations gong well. Callum needs a
page!

Canterbury Faire - Marquee price has gone up. Original T-shirt company
went under - new company found. Discussion re funds for pages activates
- look at funding from group funds.

General business
- Vitale may be overseas next month - if so will make arrangements.
