Meeting Opened 7:31pm

Present: Sigurd, Eleanora, Vitale, Chrettienne, Callum, Duncan,
Martuccio, Roheisa, Lorenzo, Geoffrey, Arabella

Apologies: Elizabeta, Angus, Madelein, William, Sebastian

Reports:

B&B:  Went to Christmas Revel and fighters' practice.  Trying to contact
Queen regarding visiting.  Arranging a Peer's Breakfast.  Received
application for seneschal.

Seneschal:  Ordered tent.  Exact figures to be given later, but will be
roughly $1660.  Received Cockatrice.  Forwarded email to lists officer
regarding authorization cards.  Answered enquiry that Non-Member
Surcharge is still applicable until Incorporation.  Received application
for seneschal.  Incorporation went through favorably- working now on
paperwork.
Have initiated discussion about policy of not clashing with kingdom
events, no progress either was so far.

A&S:  Sent in Doomsday Report.  Recommendation to get rid of back issues
of Crown Prints, though some articles will be saved for reference.

Marshal:  Received marshalling gear; plan to revamp gear.  Council
discussion regarding kidney belts, and liability of the use of loaner
armour.

Constable:  Quarterly report sent.  Sent out FTT ad for
deputies/replacement.  Lost property auction to be held at Canterbury
Faire instead of 12th Night.

Exchequer:  Main account: $6,551.91  FTT account: $111.16  Emailed
Kingdom regarding replacement.

Lists:  Need to do something about authorization cards.  Ran lists at
Royal Event.  Stewards are asked to give at least a week's notice
regarding tournaments and format to the list's officer, so that
organization of paperwork can be done.

Webminister:  Website is up at http://www.paradise.gen.nz/~sgaard  Being
currently reviewed by seneschal and B&B.  Need A&S pages, and the OP to
add onto site.  Next goal is to do something about the mailing lists.  

Chatelaine:  Attended Royal Event- did lots of chatelaine stuff.
Arranged hire garb for Christmas Revel, and worked on NewComer's
webpage.

QuarterMaster: No report- Getting married

Crescents: No report- Getting married

Herald: Email sent to Kingdom regarding not getting responses to email.
Been through Caidian Colege of Heralds minutes.  Badge for Tour d' Or in
conflict, need to contact person for permission to conflict.
Augmentation- council discussed putting augmentation on canton.
Petition of support to be set up at 12th Night.  Notice to be put on
mailing list.

Chronicler: Put out FTT.  Received complimentaries.  1 sub received.  No
more A&S newsletters have been sold yet, but will bring along to 12th
Night.  Discussion regarding copyright issues.

Events:
Royal Event:  Received total $35.  Site cost $12, $23 profit.

12th Night:  Few bookings thus far.  Looked at site.  Feast coming
together well- lots of offers of kitchen help.  Request hire garb to be
available on site as some newcomers will be on site during day.  Ball
list on website.  January council meeting to be held at the 12th Night,
on Saturday, 10 January 2004 at/around 4pm.

Canterbury Faire: 42-44 bookings so far. T-shirts sorted.  Problem with
meal plan, but may have a solution.  Booklets are out.  Update of
website scheduled this weekend.  Thus far have $1364 to be banked.

St. Jude's 2004: Devious plan in the works by Elizabeta and Arabella.
