Spoken to relevant people in the Barony and the photoshoot will be happening this week sometime. Organised a school demo for Westburn Primary school for this Thursday. Thank you to everyone who volunteered. Attended the MRS AGM and presented the proposal for the Steel Embassy for CF. HERALD: Quiet month. Haven't done much: reading up on heraldry in order to better know and name the symbols; have received a reply from the editor of Pegasus acknowledging the absence of the Awards made by Alfar and Gudrun in their final Court. He says they will appear in a subsequent issue. Was unable to attend a Court event on a Tuesday due to work. Will be able to attend the Court planned for the hafla. MARSHAL: 2 practices a week now. Numbers OK at Wednesday practice and a few people fighting there who aren't at Sunday practice. Would encourage anyone needing armour to get fighting to take advantage of Sigurd's current keeness. CAPTAIN OF ARCHERS: - Regular weekly practices have been ongoing, and I must give thanks to Ld Darius for taking over and running these for 3 weeks in this past month while I was occupied with mundane business. - We had an IKAC last week. Scores have been updated on the Lochac archery website, with assurances that the Keeper of the IKAC will update similarly shortly. - Held workshop at last stuff night on Armguard making. - There'll be an unofficial arrow-repair/fletching session this Friday (Show day), probably at my place. CF BELL: - As per last meeting, large brass bell to be bought for CF site using fighter auction funds. - Bartholomew sourced and purchased large brass bell in Sydney for $250 - Barony to purchase bell off Bartholomew - Still need ideas for excess Fighter Auction funds SUNSHADE: - Co-ordinator sought to oversee the Baronial sunshade project.
