Cheque received from Pride & Prints - $100 to go to UCMRS. (Callum and Madelein to follow up.) Seneschal: Received bill for hall hire & calendar for future bookings from CCC. Sent out minutes and received correspondence from Del saying Beltaine clashes with Crown Tourney and thus must be moved. Discussion regarding Cockatrice - suggested we might want to pay all AU$400 to sponsor an issue - council... declined. Purchased new minutes book - $12 reimbursement needed. Chased up Chatelaine reporting and discussed with Chatelaine. Southron Gaard email lists having issues - passed on to webwright to fix. Incorporation stuff going well & getting close to finishing. Details to be published in FTT therefore extra money from general account to cover the added cost of printing. A&S: Nothing to report Exchequer: Placed ad in FTT for deputy - possibly one bite. There was one address mix-up. A&S magazine to be called 'The Alchemist' and is well under way - but limited response regarding articles. Will try for a host in NZ to assist students in accessing. Articles can be put to Webwright for publication. Chatelaine: Received more hire garb. Received email regarding armour being shipped from Australian for Canterbury Faire. Email from Vitale regarding reporting. Possibilities for recruiting demos over the summer include - Brighton Market, entertainment at Ricc. Park Market or a Sunday morning fighters' practice rotating around parks in different parts of Christchurch that include more than just fighting. Need sites to be suggested - chatelaine and marshal to coordinate Chirurgeon: No report Quartermaster: No report Crescents: Nothing to report Herald: Completed O.P. and sent to Caid for all entries to be noted as gone to Lochac. SG O.P finished and to be sent to Lochac. Submissions received and sent to Kingdom. EVENTS: Beltaine: Preparation going well with activities planned for children. Volunteers welcome. Hall hire is $90, need a cheque to cover, and $50 for food. Christmas Revel: 6th December. 49c Waterman Place, Ferrymead or 273 Innes Road - to be confirmed. Site opens at 2:00pm. Choice of potluck food or catered at $6/head for cold cuts etc - decided potluck. Christmas pudding with brandy butter and custard to be supplied - Madelein to organise and be reimbursed. (Will need large SG pot). A new method of present selection mentioned. Discussion about collection of toys or food for charity. Madelein to steward, Katharine Kerr to co-ordinate activities. Twelfth Night: No report Royal Visit: King to visit SG on 13th - 18th November. Tournament with a period potluck picnic - Duncan to co-ordinate. Abberley Park suggested for site.
