(lates) Callum, Chretienne, Jarnulfr, Gryphon, Alexander Minutes: The Cheque balance last month was $ 4948.61 OFFICER REPORTS: Seneschal: Received some quarterly reports, sent own quarterly report. Various discussions (officer appointments, Kingdom lists officer communication, Lochac surcharge, deputy chronicler, newletter mailing lists) Sent FTT column and minutes. Compiling quarterly report list and checking membership next month. Looking for future event stewards. Baron and Baroness: Various correspondence w.r.t. College, and with TRMs regarding Lochac/Poll. Co-ordinated Lochac discussion with TRMs. Liased with Herald for event. Constable: No report Lists: Ran lists for Heavy and Archery at Baronial Anniversary. Used cards for Herald and children as runners. A&S: A&S display at Baronial Anniversary - New A&S Champion. New judging criteria to come. New Kingdom A&S officer in June. Doomesday and quarterly reports in post soon. Capt of Archers: Rain reduced practices. Royal round next weekend, combat archery practice at Kirkwood on May 26. At Rowany - no Range Marshalate (part of Marshals office), target archery IKAK focused, much more combat. Marshal: Correspondence regarding hand protection with Sir Malachi (Kingdom). Talking to Lochac regarding their rules. Possible College marshal found. Marshalled Royal Event. Chronicler: Sent April FTTs. Received some subs and send subscribers addresses to Kingdom. Some artwork submitted, less book reviews. Required reimbursement. Herald: Heralded Revel and Anniversary (both court and field). Preparing awards list to go to Kingdom. Sending agreement to serve to Kingdom OP. Writing article on submissions in response to queries. Had offers to help conflict check. Chatelaine: Correspondence: · Various correspondence with College Castellan & Seneschal, Baronial Seneschal, Baron and Baroness and Kingdom Chatelaine. (Including discussions on the word "medieval", Quarterly Report to Kingdom Chatelaine, cc to B&B and Baronial Seneschal) · Sent reminders (and where necessary, overdue reminders) about upcoming Quarterly reports to College Castellan and to Darchester Chatelaine. Projects: · Professionally printed SCA Brochures. ¨ Received an offer of assistance from Lady Alexandra di Santiago. ¨ Will not be working on it again until May due mundane commitments. College: Report on the way, bare bones delivered by Emma. Richard is webrite, Theodora is interested in Herald, Bastian interested in Marshal. Midwinter encampment bad timing for students => passed to Barony if they want it. Exchequer: Place ad for replacement as required in FTT. Spoke with Kingdom on behalf of Bernard (email connection issues). BALANCES: Cheque $5712.76, FTT $429.28, COH $200.90. Chirurgeon: Attended 3 events. Discussions with Kingdom, warrants signed. Sent ad to FTT and PR as per officer changeover procedure. EVENT REPORTS: Canterbury Faire: All money in. Need to pay site fee. Some concerns with site (eg leaking hall) => write a letter outlining problems to inform the site owners. Profit $397.78 Royal Revel: Profit of $70. Good event - many thanks to people. Baronial Anniversary: Full report to come next month. Rough estimate profit about $100. Easter: Excellent event. Profit of $45.50 Collegium: BID by Sinech: 21-22nd September, WEA pencil booked by Sinech. Compiling list of potential teachers, class handouts available afterwards and displays of teachers work. Screen "In Service to the Dream" as a class. Perhaps a discussion with the Peers as a follow up. Bid accepted, Sinech to pester tutors now. Yule: BID by Sinch and Lughaid. June 22nd in Phyllis Zeff room. Small revel. Semi-potluck (ie some traditional Christmas fare provided), with specific dishes requested from attendees. Traditional games, possibly dancing and Mummers play. First round of A&S championship. Ball: Duncan to bid for July ball next month. 20th Anniversary: BID by Chrettienne: 27-29 September (or possibly following weekend). 3 day, 2 night 'retreat' style. Feast (cooked by Eleonora and Madelein), Spring Tourney double up. Advertise NZ wide, Mong will be there, bunks and camping available, possibly meal plan. New Site - sleeps in bunk rooms, brand new kitchen and dining. GENERAL BUSINESS: Tables: Proper ones are $200ea, Warehouse has 6' ones for $70ea => purchase 12. Need to fundraise. raffle off device space on the tables, sell some device spaces. FTTs: Complete set of FTTs from '96-'01. $15 per batch to bind (1 year). Some 2001/2002 issues missing.
